Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) is committed to the welfare of its workers and urged the retired Wapda employees to come forward with positive suggestions in this regard. This was stated by Wapda Chairman, Tariq Hamid, while addressing a ceremony organised by BARQAB Welfare Trust to distribute marriage grant among the deserving Wapda employees here on Thursday.

Tariq appreciated the steps taken by the Trust and expressed the hope that it would continue its efforts in future. Earlier, he distributed the cheques among the deserving families of serving and retired Wapda employees.
